Xander Oakes lost everything in the PNW Earthquake and Tsunami of 2074—his home, his parents, and every memory from before that day. Ten years later, all he wants is to protect his wife and two young daughters from the worsening weather events that plague Earth’s surface. As the journey takes a toll on his mental well-being, he loses a grip on both reality itself and his ability to protect his family.

But when the distinction between worlds starts to blur, this causes him to question the very nature of his existence.
